What is A Court of Splintered Harmony about?
Bloomsbury's listing calls it "The Valkyrie Cycle, Movement I." In the publisher's description, Koschei the Deathless is stirring while the Night Court works to rebuild alliances after the Hybern War. The hardback runs 352 pages. The same listing names a seventh book, A Court of Forgotten Melody, with no date given yet.
Can I skip A Court of Frost and Starlight?
It is a short bridge novella, but it sets up characters for A Court of Silver Flames, so most readers recommend reading it.
Is ACOTAR connected to Throne of Glass or Crescent City?
Maas has linked her worlds. The 2024 Crescent City book House of Flame and Shadow includes a crossover with ACOTAR. Reading ACOTAR first helps that crossover land.
