Official dates for Python 3.12 from the Python release-cycle data.
Aditya Challa1 min read
Python 3.12 reaches end of life in October 2028, according to PEP 693 and the official Python release-cycle data. It is already in the security-fix-only phase, so it no longer gets regular bug-fix releases.
Only security patches are applied, released as source-only versions without binary installers.
Python 3.13 and 3.14 are both supported. If you are still on 3.11, which ends in October 2027, moving straight to 3.13 or 3.14 gives you a longer runway.
