Amazon Enhance My Listing + Seller Assistant: a page-copy checklist (Oct 2026)
Affiliate disclosure. This post contains one ClickBank affiliate link for Listimo (seller nickname listimo). If you buy through that link, ShopperCove may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. ClickBank is a reseller path for some Listimo credit packs; Listimo’s FAQ says Stripe is the main processor. CLICKBANK® is a registered trademark of ClickBank. ShopperCove has not run Enhance My Listing on a live ASIN, has not enabled Seller Assistant workflows, and has not completed a Listimo checkout. Amazon tool facts below are from Amazon’s public pages fetched 5 Oct 2026. Listimo surface facts are summarized from ShopperCove’s earlier Listimo package and listimo.ai / FAQ research dated 3 Oct 2026.

Why this checklist exists
Amazon’s own gen-AI listing tools and the 23 September 2026 Seller Assistant upgrade change how sellers refresh titles, bullets, attributes, and optional automations. Third-party listing generators (including Listimo) sit beside those native tools—they do not replace Seller Central policy, Brand Registry, or your duty to review every claim before publish.
This article is an operator checklist, not a ranking guarantee and not legal advice.
Amazon’s native tools (dated facts)
Enhance My Listing / gen-AI listing content
From Amazon Selling Partners’ Product listings with gen AI (read 5 Oct 2026):
- Sellers can start listings from a short description, an image, or a URL; the tool proposes titles, bullets, and descriptions using Amazon’s shopping data.
- Enhance My Listing analyzes live listings and suggests updates for titles, attributes, descriptions, and related fields. Sellers review, customize, accept, or decline—Amazon’s page stresses seller control.
- Seller Central forum guidance (Enhance your product detail page quality using AI) describes View enhancements while editing a listing and Optimize listings in Manage All Inventory.
Honest caveats from the same forum thread (seller reports, not ShopperCove tests): some sellers reported AI suggestions that did not match manual bullet-count expectations, and at least one reported content wipe bugs. Treat every suggestion as a draft. Diff against your live listing before you publish.
Seller Assistant + Selling Partner plugin (23 Sep 2026)
From Amazon’s About Amazon announcement (published 23 Sep 2026, read 5 Oct 2026):
- Seller Assistant adds persistent memory, always-on workflows (e.g. restock / pricing monitoring) with audit trails and seller-defined guardrails, and human approval before actions when configured that way.
- A Selling Partner plugin launches first with Amazon Quick and in beta with Anthropic’s Claude for U.S. store sellers (international expansion stated as planned).
- Primary account holders can sign up for a free 12-month Amazon Quick Plus subscription through 31 Dec 2026 (plus two designated coworkers per Amazon’s post).
ShopperCove did not connect a plugin or run a workflow. Availability and beta status can change—verify inside Seller Central for your account.
Page-copy checklist (native tools first)
Work one high-traffic, underperforming ASIN at a time. Do not bulk-accept AI text.
- Baseline. Export or screenshot title, five bullets, description, backend search terms, images, and A+ (if any). Note conversion / sessions if you have Brand Analytics.
- Attributes first. Open Enhance My Listing / Optimize listings. Fill missing required attributes with verifiable facts (size, material, compatibility, what’s in the box). Do not invent certifications.
- Title. Prefer clear use-case and product type over keyword stuffing. Stay inside Amazon’s character limits for your category.
- Bullets. Answer who it is for, what problem it solves, when/where it is used, and hard specs shoppers ask about. Keep claims you can support with photos or packaging.
- Description / A+. Put substantive text in fields Rufus / Alexa-for-Shopping can read—do not hide critical claims only in images.
- Q&A and reviews. Harvest recurring buyer questions; make sure bullets or A+ answer them in plain language.
- Seller Assistant (optional). If you enable a listing or pricing workflow, set recommend-only until you trust the audit trail; require approval before price or content changes.
- Human gate. Read every AI line aloud. Remove health, income, or superiority claims you cannot substantiate.
- Publish narrowly. Accept one field group at a time; re-check the live PDP on mobile.
- Re-audit. After 7–14 days, compare conversion and return reasons—not vanity keyword scores alone.
Where a third-party listing tool fits (Listimo)
Amazon’s tools optimize inside Seller Central. Listimo (nickname listimo) is a separate product that, per its public site/FAQ, builds listing images, copy, optional A+, and optional short product video from product photos, and is not an Amazon partner. It does not rank your brand website or replace site SEO.
Use Listimo when you need a coordinated image + copy draft before or beside Enhance My Listing—not as a substitute for reviewing Amazon’s suggestions.
Affiliate CTA. Open Listimo via ShopperCove’s ClickBank hop — if you purchase through that link, ShopperCove may earn a commission. Confirm pack currency and processor on the order form (FAQ: Stripe main; ClickBank reseller packs in USD).
For a deeper “what Listimo builds vs site SEO” note, see ShopperCove’s live Listimo post in Related.
FTC disclosure habit (when you recommend tools)
The FTC’s Endorsement Guides Q&A says affiliate relationships should be disclosed clearly and conspicuously near the recommendation. “Affiliate link” alone is weak; say you may earn a commission. This post’s opening disclosure is that pattern. Do the same on your own seller blog or social posts.
Bottom line
As of 5 Oct 2026, start with Amazon’s Enhance My Listing + careful human review, optionally use Seller Assistant workflows with approval gates (announced 23 Sep 2026), then consider a photo-to-listing draft tool like Listimo when you need assets Amazon’s panel does not generate. No ranking or income promises.
